MONTANA RACEWAY PARK ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH LUCAS OIL

Kalispell, MT - Officials with Montana Raceway Park have announced a partnership with Lucas Oil that gives the company signage at the high-bank paved oval in Western Montana and title sponsorship of the track's Super Late Model program.

It will be the Lucas Oil Super Late Models at MRP in 2010
For 2010 the division will be known as the Lucas Oil Super Late Models with defending champion, Alex Lessor, as one of many crowd favorites set to take part this season along with Bodie Morton, Mark Owens, Agni Howell, 2010 Rookie of the Year Forrest Bauer and Canadian drivers such as Clint Habart, Clayton Richert and Bill Royce. Also joining the division this year for a full-season run at the championship will be newcomer Ryan Wells and veterans such as Wrango West, Troy Schweigert and Billy Salmonsen.

Mini Gold Cup Friday Show Cancelled

Opening night of the 24th annual Mini Gold Cup in Chico has been cancelled due to the impending rain today. Saturday is still on as of now.

An Amazing Track Record: Steve Kinser Looks to Add to Mark at Houston Raceway Park

Baytown, TX - Steve Kinser gets up to speed pretty quick at most every track the World of Outlaws visit and can adapt to just about any conditions the track may throw at him, having won at nearly every track on the circuit. One track he is especially fast at and that suits his driving style very well is the immaculate Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, where the World of Outlaws will compete on Saturday, March 13 in the Texas Shootout as part of the Texas Two-Step Weekend.

In 14 career starts at Houston Raceway Park, Kinser has finished in the Top-10 in each and every race, with 11 Top-Five performances among the tally. He has an average finish of 3.6 at the track, which easily is the best of the 18 drivers competing full-time with the World of Outlaws in 2010.

EXTREME MUFFLERS ANNOUNCES USAC WEST COAST 360 SPRINTS CONTINGENCY

SIMI VALLEY, CA – Extreme Mufflers has announced a contingency program for competitors with the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series for 2010. Extreme will award a $100 product certificate to the drivers that win the First Heat Race of every program. To qualify for the contingency, competitors must display the Extreme Muffler decal on their car. The decals will be available at the racetrack and distributed by series officials.

"I can't thank Dan Wheeler at Extreme Mufflers enough for his generosity and support," says Series Promoter Chris Kearns. "We are off to a great start this season and we are looking for bigger and better things to come for our racers, fans, and sponsors.”

For winning the First Heat Race at last weekend’s season opener at Tulare’s Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway, Clovis’ Peter Murphy will be awarded a certificate this Saturday at Hanford’s Giant Speedway.
