Right in his Backyard: Toni Lutar Looks Ahead to Races at Skagit Speedway this Weekend

Alger, WA-September 2, 2010- Toni Lutar's truck, trailer and crew left White Rock, British Columbia, Canada at the end of January to make the 3,100 mile trek to Florida to open the season and for the first time in about nine months, were back at their home base this week, as the World of Outlaws continue the 2010 Gold Rush Tour with a stop at Skagit Speedway in Washington on Friday, September 3 and Saturday, September 4. For Lutar, it will be the closest race to home all season, as Skagit is just a mere 40 miles from his shop.

Outlaws coming to Grays Harbor Raceway for Big E Weekend

This weekend at Grays Harbor Raceway located at the Fairgrounds in Elma, Washington, it’s the weekend everyone has been waiting for all year long.  Big E is back for three huge action packed nights of racing on the fast high banked 3/8’s mile clay oval.

Highlighting the weekend will be the World of Outlaws on Labor Day, Monday September 6th, along with the final race of the Washington State Racing Series for the Ford Focus Midgets.  As well, on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM the Elma Auto Racing Hall of Fame will induct it’s 2010 inductee’s, Dave Elhers, Doug Goble, Jason Longwith, Howard Carter, Harold Clevenger, Albert “Barney” Peetz.

Josh Richards Tops Mohawk 100-Lapper, Gains On Extreme Tough Challenge Title

CONCORD, NC - Sept. 2, 2010 - Josh Richards scored a major victory on Wednesday night in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series "Battle At Eastern Door" at Mohawk International Raceway.

For the first time in his career, the 22-year-old defending series champion won a 100-lap event and moved up the standings in the LaCrosse Footwear Extreme Tough Challenge.

"This was just one great night," said Richards, of Shinnston, W.Va. "It's an awesome feeling to finally win a 100-lap race after seven years of trying - and getting some more points for the LaCrosse Extreme Tough Challenge makes the night even better. We have a few more LaCrosse shows left to go and hopefully we'll run good in them to get to the top of the points standings."
