Chico, CA-September 7, 2010- Prior to heading to Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California for the 57th Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions, September 9-11, each of the 15 full-time World of Outlaws drivers shared their thoughts on the famed event which will again pay $50,000 to win this season. Joey Saldana, the current World of Outlaws point leader, snagged his second Gold Cup last season passing Jason Sides coming off turn four on the final lap. Steve Kinser, the 20-time World of Outlaws champion, who is currently second in points only six markers out of the lead, has won the Gold Cup a record 12 times. Jac Haudenschild has won the legendary race three times, while Donny Schatz and Danny Lasoski have each won the Gold Cup once. A new format will greet competitors this season with every driver competing on all three nights.

SANTA MARIA, CA – SEPTEMBER 7, 2010… This Saturday, September 11th, Hanford's Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway will host the "Jim Turner Memorial" featuring the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series. The event will be the season finale for the Southwest Contractors 360 Clash mini-series and will also showcase the IMCA Stock Cars and Bud Light Mini-Stocks. The Spectator Gates will open at 5:30pm, Time Trials are scheduled for 6:30pm, with racing to follow.

Elma, WA-September 7, 2010- Rain has forced the cancellation of the World of Outlaws event at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington on Tuesday night. The race was originally scheduled for Monday and was pushed back a day by rain. It will not be rescheduled.

The World of Outlaws return to action on Thursday, September 9 with the 57th Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California. The three-day event, which has a new format this season in which every driver will compete on all three nights, again will pay $50,000 to win the 40-lap finale on Saturday night.
