Northwest Wingless Tour Return Back In Action To SSP

By Ben Deatherage, Banks, Oregon-The Northwest Wingless Tour returns to the Sunset Speedway Park off of the heels of last week’s feature for the fourth race of the 2012 season for the series on Saturday June 9th.  It will be the third race of the year at the Banks bullring for the NWWT and their seventh time in the history of the series since first visiting in 2010.  Five different drivers have captured victories at SSP with the NWWT with Gary Davis’ three wins still stands strong as the most as four other drivers have one once including Tony Thomas, Mark Nichols, Bill Winlsey, and last week’s victory Ryan Bothwell while J.J. Hickle opened the season up with a win at the Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington in early May.

Sunset Speedway Park will host the Northwest Wingless Tour five more times in 2012.  They will be on hand for June 30th as well as July 14th and August 25th.  The two final races will take place in the month of September on the 8th and 29th.
